so that usage is not decisive—Chrysostom appears to combine both interpretations (Denney). But the ancient VSS support behold rather than ‘reflect’, and ‘the translation “we reflect” … removes the contrast of the Christians with the Jews, who because of their veil cannot see’ (Kümmel; similarly Windisch; cf.
